We selected Scrum as a software development methodology, as it ideally fit the specifics of the project. Also, we decided to communicate via Microsoft Teams during the solution development and support. Azure DevOps was used for task management.
As our company was involved in the front-end development, the biggest challenge was the dependence on the team that develops the back-end part of the application. Our deadlines and releases were directly reliant on them. In addition, the same services on the back-end part were used simultaneously by several applications. Each of them had their own release dates and slightly different functionality, which made it difficult to plan and synchronize releases. Despite the challenges described above, we established excellent communication with the client’s team and achieved a high level of synchronization, thus meeting the deadlines and completing project tasks in excellent quality.
