Challenge

Our goal was to create our own corporate career website where job seekers could easily find useful information about current open positions and internship programs as well as the details about the technology, projects, corporate culture, and our company’s everyday life.

As a rule, most visitors switch to the companies' products and services upon visiting corporate websites, therefore our career portal had to be designed to immediately catch the attention of potential job seekers.

Solution

A corporate career website is a reliable way to familiarize website visitors with the company, let prospective candidates find out about open job opportunities, and distinguish its HR brand from competitors. Such a website is a good option to present the company’s corporate values as well as show how they are implemented in practice through some pieces of the real life of the employees.

We have thoroughly worked out the presentation structure of our company to stress its pivotal advantages to the prospective candidates. Right now, website visitors can easily navigate and learn about the available positions.

Focus on user experience

Users often forget numbers and small details placed on the website pages, but they remember how it made them feel. We have kept that in mind and tried to provide a memorable experience via graphics, layout, text, and interactive elements.

Also, many users access the site from mobile devices. Hence, to provide the best user experience, a website must fit perfectly on the screens of mobile devices, and we have successfully implemented this feature as well.

Unique style

While maintaining the core elements of the corporate brand, Innowise Design Studio has managed to create a fresh and dynamic design that reflects the corporate culture and appeals to potential candidates who are usually between 25 to 35 years old.

The complementary color scheme and a proper combination of 3D elements, photos, and collages have made the website stand out from competitors.

3D design

The highlight of the website design is the authentic 3D animation on the “hero” section that symbolizes our slogan “We develop the world”. Our talented 3D artists have prepared unique 3D icons, loaders, and other elements.

Also, we have used 3D elements on the photos and videos, which helped combine different formats in a single style.

Our Vue.js developers have managed to successfully implement non-standard ideas with 3D and, at the same time, provide high website download speed and adaptiveness to any device. It has become possible, as we apply the server-side rendering technology that speeds up site loading on weak devices.

The minimum number of libraries and dependencies ensures minimal website weight.

SEO and promotion

If a site does not have a proper link structure, search engines may not crawl and index the site properly, which can result in the absence of ranking. Coding errors might completely block search engines and make it impossible for the site to get ranked. Therefore, we have put sufficient effort to apply the best SEO techniques.
Our SEO team has ensured the absence of website errors, and duplications, and has elaborated the appropriate keywords, website content, local SEO, and SEM.

As for this project, there are some notable SEO features to highlight. For different open positions, we have created a templated Title and Description section, which changes depending on the position. Since open positions are often placed in social networks and messengers, we have customized the OpenGraph.

To build our corporate career website, we have worked with Strapi and Node.js as our Back-end and Vue.js as our Front-end framework.

Process

Design
Innowise Design Studio was responsible for the turnkey design of the career website, from concept creation and prototypes to authentic 3D animations and adaptive design for mobile devices.
We had regular meetings with stakeholders to determine the project’s objectives, expectations, and timeline. Once the requirements had been defined, the UI/UX and 3D design teams created prototypes and elements. We intended to build an appealing platform for our prospective employees that combines intuitiveness in usage, responsiveness for any devices, and a catchy style.
Development
Once design concepts had been approved, we started the web development. First, we have developed an MVP with the basic information for job seekers (main page, open positions, benefits). The next stage included adding pages about delivered projects, relevant news, and event announcements. In addition, we have customized an admin platform so that recruiters could easily post new job opportunities and content managers could add news about corporate life.
SEO
The last stage of work on the site was SEO optimization, including keywords, titles, URLs, meta descriptions, H1-H3 tags, alt texts, and link anchors. Once the SEO specialist had implemented onsite optimization and ensured high website speed and mobility, she kept improving the website. Right now, the SEO specialist is responsible for link building and further optimization of pages, as well as collaboration with content managers regarding topics for new posts.
